Quick to install, through the\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">AWS Systems Manager (SSM) Run Command, SSM State Manager, or from the CL<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">I, the CloudWatch Agent enable<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">s<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0the simple collection of metrics and logs<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0which c<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">an<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0then be used to create CloudWatch Alarms or Dashboards<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, to give customers better visibility into the on-going operation of their workloads.<\/span><span are\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">associated with the counters in Windows Performance Monitor<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">For example, the below shows the current memory activity for a given instance:<\/span><span more<\/strong><\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0AWS introduced\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"mailto:https:\/\/docs.aws.amazon.com\/AmazonCloudWatch\/latest\/monitoring\/cloudwatch-application-insights.html\"><span data-contrast=\"none\"><strong>Application Insights for .NET and SQL Server<\/strong><\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, which analyses important application metrics\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">and uses machine learning to advise<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0on potential problems with customer applications.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Leveraging Amazon SageMaker\u2019s machine learning algorithms, it continuously identifies anomalies and errors on common problems,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">such as application latency, SQL Server failed backups, memory leaks, large HTTP requests, and aborted IO operations<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">CloudWatch Dashboards are automatically created to visualize problem details<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, helping application owner<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">s<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0better understand workload performance and<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">diagnose and\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">proactively<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">remediate potential issues.<\/span><span
